COVID-19 Measures

The aim of the below set out measures to ensure our customers are safe in and around the Cosy Wolf premises. For the Cottage please click here

The Bed and Breakfast

    Check in
Hand sanitiser will be available upon entering the building and guests are asked to use it when entering the property.

As a Bed and Breakfast we do not have a check in desk as such. When you arrive we will greet you observing social distancing. All keys will be left in the door locks after sanitising and won’t be handled by any members of staff. A member of the team will show you to your room. You will find a registration form in your room for you to fill out and return to a member of staff, as soon as possible after your arrival.

In the unlikely event that a queue forms for check in, please ensure to adhere to the social distancing measures.

We are happy to help with your luggage and gloves will be available for staff to wear. To observe social distancing, your luggage will be left outside the door to your room. The staff member will knock on your door and step back to ensure it is safe for you to take your luggage.

The corridor leading to the staircase is 1.11m wide and guests are asked to apply caution and check before proceeding. Please allow guests to pass with a safe distance either in the entrance area or the hall by the staircase.

Hand sanitiser will be available at the top and bottom of the staircase for guests wanting to use the handrail. As the stairs are not wide enough for guests to walk past each other observing the current social distancing rules, we ask all guests to check before going up or down and to allow guests that are already on the stairs to finish their journey first. Signs will be put up at the top and bottom of the stairs to remind guests to check.

Please note that the guest lounge is currently not in use as social distancing cannot be ensured.

    Breakfast
As our breakfast room is unfortunately not big enough to have two meters between tables we are offering staggered breakfast times. You can choose breakfast between 8.30am and 9.15am or between 9.15am and 10.00am. Please inform us of your choice on arrival. Please note that breakfast times are on a first come first serve basis and we might not always be able to offer you the time slot you wanted.

Weather permitting breakfast can also be served on the terrace for a maximum of three rooms at the same time to ensure social distancing.

We won’t be able to offer our additional breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and pastries but we will add these items to our breakfast menu for you to choose from.

    Housekeeping
Regular disinfecting of all door handles and handrails in communal areas is in place.

If you are staying with us for more than 1 night, in line with government guidelines, for the protection and safety of our guests and team, your bedroom will not be serviced during your stay.

If you require fresh towels or amenities during your stay, please just let us know and we can arrange that for you.

Stringent cleaning protocols are in place but the complete eradication of transmission of Covid-19 is unfortunately not possible. We would therefore encourage guests to wear face coverings in the communal areas and hallways and to increase hand washing frequency.

    Garden
The Garden is big enough for guests to relax while observing social distancing. Garden furniture will be spaced out accordingly and disinfected on a regular basis.

    Check out
As we do not have a reception desk and are therefore not able to have a plastic screen to follow government guidelines, we will introduce a contactless checkout. We will charge your outstanding balance of your stay to the credit card you paid your deposit with, on the day of your departure and email you a copy of the receipt. Please leave your room key in the glass bowl provided next to the entrance upon departure.

    Cancellation Policy
In light of the Covid 19 Pandemic and the government advice, we have amended our cancellation policy to the following:

100% refund for cancellations up to 7 days before arrival 50% refund for cancellations between 6 days and 48 hours before arrival. For cancelations less than 48 hours before arrival, the full booking balance will be due.

The above updated cancellation policy replaces the cancellation policies stated in the Terms & Conditions. The updated cancellation policy will be valid as long as Covid-19 measures have to be in place.

    Local Community
We would like to ask all guests to respect social distancing and good hand washing hygiene in all contacts and activities inside and outside the Bed and Breakfast.
