About the Wolf

Some would say I am crazy; others say I am brave... I think I am a bit of both. I am finally fulfilling the dream I had since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, running my own Bed and Breakfast. Well, buying a late Georgian House that needs more than just updating to revive its glory and hoping for it to become my dream Bed and Breakfast.

Situated in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight, in two acres of beautiful gardens sat back from the road, Cosy Wolf is a hidden gem of tranquillity on the West Wight.

We took over the Bed and Breakfast in January 2020 and have been updating the rooms and communal areas to a high standard. Updated furniture and new flooring were only the start. Three of our five en-suites have been updated and the other two will follow soon.

The property features a spacious guest lounge with a fireplace and honesty bar for cosy evenings, a breakfast room as well as spacious grounds inviting guests to use the garden for relaxing. The Bed & Breakfast is an adults only property, all guests staying have to be over the age of 18. We do not allow dogs in the Bed and Breakfast.

We also rent out a three-bedroom holiday cottage on a self-catering basis. The cottage has a double bedroom with a super king bed, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom making it the ideal location for families. The cottage has already been equipped with new sofas and new mattresses. It also features a small private garden with seating area. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

We welcome any feedback to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay and so that we can improve our rooms, the cottage, and our services for your return stay.

We are near Freshwater Bay, which can be reached by car in 5 minutes or a leisurely stroll in 20 minutes. Alum Bay and the Needles are a 15-minute drive and Compton Bay can be reached by car in 10 minutes.

The West Wight is ideal for hiking and cycling with numerous trails.

All Restaurants and Pubs in Freshwater are a short walk away and we are happy to provide recommendations.
